Autumn brightens our forests. Leaves take on gaudy colors as they change. Leaves fall to the forest floor, offering a carpet of splendor to the viewer. Each leaf is a small part of the tree. But there is a smaller tree with stems and veins within the leaf. Each painting is a meditation in color mood inspired by a single leaf.

Each leaf is viewed as a miniature tree with varied color harmonies.

Each leaf is a landscape.

The veins of the leaf are like rivers which isolate areas of surface.
